In the village, there are shops and pubs, all within walking distance. The Kingfisher pub serves excellent food and a particularly good Sunday lunch. You can ride the tramway from Colyton down to the coast at Seaton. If you prefer, you can cycle on quiet roads. The seaside villages of Beer and Branscombe are accessible by bicycle, albeit an energetic ride, unless you have electric power! A frequent bus service stops nearby which will take you to Lyme Regis, Beer, Sidmouth, Seaton or Axminster. Connecting services to Exeter.
